'Lo! super short haired newbie!

Hi! When I used to have bra strap length, and last year i had a horrible hair cutting incident that left my hair at around 12 inches. Im trying to regain my former hair glory, learn new things everyday, and start a regimen i can follow when i go off to college in a year or so.
My type 4 hair right now is at 18 inches, but very thin and uneven at the ends (probably because i ended up having my hair cut into a fauxhawk). its henna'd and tex-laxed (which is a light relaxer to minimize damage). eventually i want my hair to be 33 plus inches, but ill settle for a strong/even 20 for now, haha.
It's nice to meet you all, i hope i dont make a fool out of myself
