I've never seen one like that little flower! Did you find it useful? It's so pretty, but so short with such a large flower... I'm trying to figure out what I'd DO with it!

I escaped Photobucket years ago and use Flickr. It's not without its issues, but much better overall!

I always did a top knot with spin pins and just used it decoratively. I cheat bun a lot of things. Some of the prettier things I have aren't very practical in real life use.

Thank you both for the photobucket alternatives. I will have to check those out before I rage throw my tablet against the wall one of these days

Adastra, the flower topped SL sticks are meant to be really short, because they look best smushed right into the bun, with -ideally- little to no stick showing on either end. I use my Hawaii and Flora in a LWB or disc bun and it works really well for me

Short sticks work really well for me in general because my hair is so lightweight. Thank you for the pictures...now I REALLY am having a meltdown!

PS: Apparently you can get the tarnish off with a gentle aluminum foil+salt water bath. I haven't tried it myself, but I read about it on the German forum's SL thread. Or just google it. Both of these are, I believe, silver plated brass, so you don't want to use a polishing cloth.
