I have no idea if the dye I used contained silicon. I'm kinda thinking I should put this off just in case.

I am really considering this!! At the roots though, my hair is virgin and very healthy: I don't want to damage it. In the center, its just henna over my virgin color: this is what I want to get rid of! Was it necessary to keep it on for 3 hours?? or do you think 2 hours would be enough?

Also: my ends are henna over chemically dyes and lightening. Would the coloroops rid these to shreds? I think after all the henna has lifted i will dye the end purple. I don't want to be forced to chop them though.

    THIS IS SO TEMPTING!!

I am so afraid to try Color Oops. Does it really not damage? I don't know why, but I just can't envision that.

I think I found a way to get me some ColorB4
(I love my henna, but it just got too dark for me, and that makes maintenance high...which -as a very busy student- I don't have time for lately. I would already be happy to be strawberry blonde again, which is pretty darn close to my natural haircolor)

Now, what I wanted to know, did anybody using this product noticed increased shedding? If so, how much..?

I'm kind of scared too. What if the damage shows up in a few weeks, as it sometimes happen with bleach ?

I'll keep reading your experiences, keep posting !

Interesting.... There's a part of me that thinks it would be cool to go back to my natural auburn, instead of this dark red tone. I've been unsuccessful at breaking myself of the henna habit so far, though, not least because I can see the two-toned-ness even if no one else can.

If nothing else, it's great to know that this exists, so when I want to allow my hair to go gray, I can potentially remove the henna instead of doing the two-toned thing.

For what it's worth, I used ColorFix some years ago to pull the dye out from under my henna. I can say that, now looking back about 3 years, that there was zero damage from it.

For what it's worth it has been 2 months since I started my first treatment and my hair is still not damaged. I can't speak from the experience of people who already have damaged hair or hair chem dyes in their hair as my hair was completely virgin under the henna and my hair is so resistant to splitting that I can't recall ever seeing one on my own head.
Well, that's one year down since pixie. I have been knighted as 'turbo grower.'

That is awesome! If only I had known that 3 years ago! I might still have waist length hair or longer... Ahh well. I grew mine out for two years til I couldn't stand it anymore and chopped it. So glad it worked for you!
