    It worked!

Before: Very dark and red in sunlight.
After: No more henna!!! I'm a golden blonde/dirty blonde in sunlight.

I only did it once (after strand testing) and skipped the honey lightening step.
I don't think I'll do it again. I'm happy with the results.
FYI--It removed the henna, buxus, and indigo. I had demi dye underneath it, which was a nice brown and seems to be partly removed as well.

And my 6" of bleached ends are.. well. Not sure if I want them blonde again. Would have to re-dye that

I do want to get my glosses out though. My ashy brown is showing and it looks odd. Guess i'll try it this weekend.
I would be careful, my roots did get lightened a bit, though it matches the lighter parts of my hair and doesn't look bad.

I'm so glad Mairéad posted this thread!!!

One thing I did notice was initially after doing this my hair was really bright, but it did tone down after a few days.

Nope, in fact, after doing a nice deep condition my hair felt exactly as it does after being clarified.

    None!!

My hair is naturally a bit dry. When I first rinsed it my hair felt so nice, silky. I think the rinsing for 30 minutes is worse for my hair than the color oops. By the time I was done rinsing my hair felt a bit weird. I had shampooed twice (Burts Bees--no SLS). I conditioned as normal and it dried how it usually does without product.

Ok I have a question. Did you clarify/wash your hair first, or did you have "dirty" hair like for dyeing?

I've done it on my 1 day hair and I've done it on 3 or 4 day hair, too. I don't know if it's better on dirtier or cleaner hair but I've seemed to have gotten to this point having done it on both. I think I leaned towards doing it on dirtier hair since I knew the treatment itself would clean the hair and that I would be shampooing half way through the rinsing as well.

    It's applied to dry hair.

Mine was pretty clean since I washed it the day before and made sure to not put in any leave-ins or oils.
