Yeah bc the sebum soaks in. There's a pretty obvious difference between my freshly washed hair and day 5 hair.
I have noticed my hair looks lighter in color and more vibrant (Or at least less dull) after I wash it. Does anybody else experience this?
I feel like my hair color can look kind of duller and darker as the days go on when I don't wash it.

Definitely my hair is way brighter and shinier on days I wash it.
Absolutely. My roots area looks muddy reddish brown if I don't wash it enough.
definitely! The difference is very stark

My red undertones totally go into hiding after day 4 of not washing. Day one my hair looks absolutely lovely and nice and bright especially in the sun. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has this issue, but I'm not about to wash everyday or else my scalp and hair would be really unhappy with me.
When I had my natural color and now my roots, definitely! It get's darker when I'm closing in on wash day and lighter when it's clean. Though it's only the color. My hair is shiny both when it's greasy and when it's clean.

I've noticed the same darkening effect as well.
