Custom status message?

Ok, how do I change that darn "member" title under my user name? The FAQ says it should be in the page where you edit your profile, but mine has no such thing.

I think it only works when you've been a member for more than a year and have over 1000 posts.

It used to be OS, until the big crash of 2008...I *believe* it was 6 months membership and 1,000 quality posts.

It's 1,000 posts and 1 year... so you'll have to wait a wee bit longer.

There did not used to be any time criteria for Guruhood. Some very chatty folks made it in less than 6 months, but they were working very hard!

OK, I went to my User CP, then on the lefthand side, it's the first one in the first block of things. Edit Your Details. (I am sorry, I was trying so hard to remember everything that I forgot the first subheading.) But I know it's Edit Your Details. In that one, there is a place to put in your custom user title. Let me know if that works. I'll have a party. I'm the dumbest of the entire modstaff when it comes to puters, and I am just so happy to have FOUND something!

Oh crap, I just read more of the thread and you will evidently just have to wait a bit longer. But when you DO get there (and you WILL get there), now you know what to do!
