I have to say I love it when a member is banned and the offender's avatar is changed to the surprised baby orangutan with the word "Banned!" underneath.

I recently saw this avatar and thought it would be perfect to replace avatars of members who are banned for flouncing or hysterics.

    What say you?

I am afraid I don't share the same sentiment.

As much as I am aware how fiercely competent our mod team is and how members don't "just get banned" for small misdemeanors (they get warned and have to "really try hard" to get banned) - I still think that they deserve as much respect as we do all.

Let's leave them alone with their follies and go our respective ways.

Yes, we've changed from the orangutan picture to a red strikethrough and the designation "banned." If you see any of the ape avatars, let me know?

Honestly? I prefer the mod team's new design. No offence - I think the llama picture's a hoot - but I don't think it'd do much to pour oil on troubled waters.

    Question Re: Banned avatar

Hello, I'm somewhat new here... what are some of the reasons one would get "banned" from the site? Is it pretty much for "offensive" behavior?

Has our site been compromised or is this a new thing? An "unregistered guest" can post?

On site support they can. People who can't log in have to be able to post somewhere

You can read the Community Guidlines and Terms of Service here.
Hmm, what should this say? I'm thinking . . .
