Thanks! It's a gold colour hair accessory. If you search "loc jewelry" on amazon it should pull up something similar. (It's not actually holding the rope braid together, the twist/fingercoil at the end is doing that all on its own! )

It looks great! Doing a full-length fishtail always takes longer than anticipated.

Thanks! Even this small section took me a few minutes. I think it's harder because your sections are always changing, whereas with a regular braiding style they stay well separated the whole time

I didn't do anything! I was so shocked that it even happened LOL I sometimes get 3b curls but they're usually elongated but this was the first tight curl. I typically have 2c/3a curls. I haven't really had any ringlets lately because of the bleach damage.
