Entertaining Hair Conversations: Let's share!

There's a store in my town, that's open once a week and sell Finnish groceries. Me and my father are regulars there. There's a Finnish old lady that works there. This lady often bakes for my father and this made him ask, if she's ever baked with duck eggs. He told her that his daughter has ducks. "Oh is your daughter that short girl? She's so beautiful and looks like you. She has such hugh hair (bun) and I've always wondered how long it is!".

People are always surprised by how I can squeeze my long hair into a bun, but this is the opposite. She knows that a big bun takes long hair. I found it sweet and entertaining.

Bread and cheese for myself. And sometimes some sausages for my SO. My father buys a lot of things.

Maybe you could time a photo just right. Scatter some food for them and when they lower their heads to eat (with you posed accordingly) it would be like they were bowing to you

I was grocery shopping and all of a sudden this young lady came up behind me but to my left and suddenly said I had "amazing" hair. That was so sweet. I was sort of in shock so I didn't think to say it at the time, but my hair looked a lot like hers when it was shoulder length. I think she might be a wurly or curly and if she let it grow, she could have similar. Anyway, I washed and dried it and it wasn't really waving or curling, just sort of right angling. Also my ends are getting too fairytaley. I wasn't loving it but left the house anyway. That comment made me feel a bit better.
Oh, and the funny thing: not feeling real comfortable in my body or any clothes right now but got a compliment on my pants right before the hair one. It was nice to receive those. Don't be afraid to "drive-by" compliment someone. It could change their day for the better.

I love a drive-by compliment! Also- that’s the best name for it; I’ve not heard that before.
