Wow, that must be nice! What kind of oil did you use? Did it also make it shiney? I bet it looks fabulous.

Ergh, from top bsl to bottom bsl took so long! Although I'm beginning to feel I have long hair, when I French/Dutch braid it i have a decent length tail now. The bad news is I'm going for a trim on thurs and I'm going to trim my layers too. I always wear it down when I'm out of the house so I'm not concerned about messy braids. I had my last trim, last August so my layers have grown out almost, if I have 1/2 an inch of the layer and the length i should end up with an even length and some longer layers.

I used my usual almond oil, just a bit more of it. The area around my part is shiny as hell, but the rest of my hair's got this fantastic matte-black appearance that clearly ISN'T dull.

It's hard to describe without a picture. I think I know what my birthday present is going to be next month. *needs a camera*

    Hi there!

I think, I reached waist... again:

(brushed bun waves, red temporary dye, and rather thin ends)

The hemline is a mess. So I'm probably going to maintain the length for a while to thicken up a bit. What do you think?

Yeah, maintaining for a few months should be fine; I only see one or two really thin parts, and other than that it looks fine.

    I love your color Denebi!

As for me, I'll not reach waist in a looooong time

Were the picture is cut off, there's my waist. So I have another 4-5 inches to go (I hope I'll reach it before 2014!)

I don't really know what to do with my hair anymore

I used to be able to wash it every 7-8 days but since I moved, 4 days is pushing it and my scalp starts itching at the end of day 2 I did an ACV rinse in case it helped and nothing. I really don't want to have to wash my hair every 2 days, especially since I'm coming out of a huge shed and I'd like to spare any hairs that I can.

I've been looking for this thread! I'm currently right inbetween BSL and waist, if you don't count the front of my hair (or ex-bangs as I like to call them) which has just reached SDL finally. So hello all!!!

Ligeia, what climates were your original place and the place you moved to? I might be able to figure out some of the problem.

Also, a good scalp massage somehow (with a brush/comb or with your hands) should help cut down on the itchiness. If you have an oily scalp like mine, though, you might need to wash your hands afterward.
