I'm starting to hate the length of my hair. I'm pinning it down with bobby pins for a faux-pixie (the back is pixie but the front and top are longer, the bangs are nearly up to my chin ughhh stupid Rihanna I hate you so much right now). Having to pin it down is making my head hurt. Stupid sensitive head.

I cut it too my chin last summer, and it's only to my shoulders, but that's because i kept cutting it

I can't stand the middle length! I'd rather have it but super short, or super long. Of course, in order to get it long, you have to go though that agonizing middle stage... which seems to last forever!! but I'm going to bite the bullet and try to LEAVE IT lol. It really helps to sign on to these boards for encouragement and support. Together, we will reach our goal lengths!

Since your back and sides are longer than mine, section off the layers like you would if you were going to flat iron. Take the left layers, pull them to the right from behind your head, and pin them there to make them disappear. Pull the right layers to the left etc till the bottom layers are all gone, then you can follow the video instructions

NOTE: god, my hair is ridiculously assymetric. I don't know how it's going to look when its long rofl.

You can use hairspray/gel etc to get a cleaner finish than I got. I don't use either as I usually spend a while on this style, and I'm stretching out washes at the moment.

I sometimes remove the headband and just pin the hair in place so it doesn't have a little "bump" and is more pixie ish.
