After seeing all those beautiful sticks here I coudn't resist any longer and ordered my first stick today

I spoke with Richard about a stick I'm looking at, but wasn't sure I knew what size I needed, so he suggested that I talk to the ladies at LHC and have them help me decide. ( I never even said I was a member lol) anyways If you don't know I'm almost APL with iii or more hair planning to grow to waist (maybe longer)
I want the stick length to last for some time, do you have any suggestions?

Hmm. I was pretty happy with 4 to 4.5 inch usable lengths up until about hip length. You might want to go for 4.5 to 5 inch since your hair is so thick.

I'm not sure how the thickness of the stick affects the measurements, though.

If you want to use sticks for a Chinese bun, you'd want to add an inch or two of usable length to the stick, as well.
