Server too busy/cannot find page

It's been happening to me a lot the past few days. One day I couldn't get on here at all, it was always "server too busy" Other days it's been intermittent.
I've certainly known it to happen before, but not as much as it has lately.

Just a heads up, when this place is down, we are gathering over at The Beauty Bottle. If you are using gmail to register with, the site will not accept you. You'll need to pm me (if you can) with a user name and your email and I can help you.

yep i've been getting the server busy message for a few days. i hope it gets fixed, because none of the other hair sites are as awesome as this one

It's fixed for now. It should be ok for a while. Now we can go back to hoping for the upgrade.

It happens to me too, especially in the evening :S I can rarely post here anymore. Could it be there are too many members to be handled by the server?

I have been in almost a panic about this!

I literally have not been able to get on LHC for a week and a half. I was only in a panic because I had no way of knowing what was going on and when/if it would be fixed. I have only been a member since March but I have had little tid-bits of info about the site going down for months-in the past.

I was confused about the server too busy though. One time there were only 70 people on the Main forum and I thought-how can the site not handle about 100 people.

Can someone please tell me what TBB is? Is that the beauty bottle. I looked it up and all I got was beauty products! I would like to belong to it if its like a sister site to LHC. I definately need a back up when the server is too busy happens!

Oh and is there any way I can get into contact with someone when this does happen. I was in complete limbo. If the site went down for months I had no way of knowing if it was being worked on etc. I tried contacting the site but my email didnt go thru.

Yep, it's the Beauty Bottle. If I recall correctly, LHC was once a subforum of that site. You can still find a link on TBB to LHC, as if it's a subforum of their hair board.

Steph created TBB , it's her baby. It's been so long ago, I can't remember exactly, but I think when TLHC split , one person opened up a hair site and charged membership . I believe Steph found a site and that's when the LHC that I know and love came into existence. TBB is a great place to be, it's an aswesome site just by itself, WITH a great hair board to boot!
