Yes, join if you'd like! We set the goal until the end of January... hoping that after the hectic holidays things could get finished up and sent out within that, what... 5 or 6 weeks? It isn't a rush type situation, for sure!

I'm going through names and trying to make good matches. How fun it is!!!

This one's tricky matching up everyone's likes and dislikes and who will make good matches. I won't just pull names out of a hat... I can't wait to find out, myself, because I really want to get crafting... I've got ideas on lots of them, just want to make sure that no one else joins before the end and I can take care of us all!

It will be so fun! I know things I want to make for everyone so far.

Plus I haven't posted my own list yet. Slacker... I really just like everything, though!

Well, it's less of a time issue (the time allotted seems fair and generous!) and more a "I'm not sure if I can make anything worth giving to anyone" kind of thing.

For me it was all here on LHC. I wouldn't be surprised if the inspiration came from the board for the majority of us.

I learned most here. I'd been decorating the Papermate pens I put in my hair for so long, but it never occurred to me to use knitting needles or make wood sticks or anything like that until hair forums... Lots of great ideas get bounced around here.

My friend was learning to crochet, so I joined her because I love crochet things. I learned the basics all from youtube and devised patterns for the things I needed, calorimetry, bun cover, snood.
