How'd it go with the Sun-in, Kwaniesiam? Inquiring minds want to know!
I think she's probably going to do a few more treatments before she posts results. After all, Nightshade didn't lighten her hair in one sitting.

i really wanna try this.
i may pick up a bottle & begin some strand testing - i have a question though i wanna light my hair, but i was wondering would it be better to henna my hair first (i have one full application on right now but my length half is virgin looks very dark, and my ends look way brighter.) or apply it over the the way my hair is now to get it lighter.
maybe ill just henna do a strand test with a new henna & and one without new henna
I think the henna would help protect your hair from too much damage, since it makes the hair shaft stronger by lawsone molecules binding with the keratin in your hair. When you lighten your virgin hair, the shaft is opened up and made weaker. Most of us here are using the SunIn to lighten our henna. I've decided to try it, myself.
Henna makes it twice as hard to lighten. So it require to expose the hair to the Sun-In for much longer. I think it's better to lighten first, then henna. Much less damage IMO.
Soft hair that is nice to sit on - now I'm bragging!
Lol! Yes I ment to quote..the quote. Sorry bout the goof.Had a screaming
2 yr old. Is this safe to do over dyed hair? (had a color specialist do my hair to
