SMT with a little bit of Olaplex No. 3 mixed in

You've inspired me to do a SMT tonight! I completely forgot about it but I've got some conditioner I don't love to use up and it always makes my hair feel great I bet it's even better with olaplex

Oh wow, I kept the henna on my hair for 5 hours today. I had a choice based on the activities of the day to do 2 hours or 5 hours, so I went for it. The color is SO deep and my hair feels SO soft. The weather is rainy here today so I don’t think I’ll get any good pictures to share. In the house it is a vibrant deep auburn/red. I love it.

I trimmed 1" this morning and reshaped my face framing layers. Now, going through my hair care product hoard and deciding what to leave easily accessible to use up this spring season, and what to toss or give away. I have more than I realized, don't need to buy anything for a while. After I get everything put back away I am going to wash my hair and take a photo of my cut to make sure it is straight-enough and document my current length.

Lately I've been doing all the possible smoothing things in every hairwash: adding oil to shampoo, heating the conditioner where I add gelatine and sunflower oil, spreading it with downwards strokes, rinsing with ice cold water (first with warmer), acv rinse and fenugreek spray as a leave-in. Last time I tested citric acid because acv was finished. Result was good and shiny, but unfortunately I didn't have time to consider to result properly... (on day 2 I've already lost the best result) but I think I'm quite excited about citric acid right now!
After a long time I also washed my roots with conditioner.

My hair was feeling very "heavy" today so I did an off-schedule wash day with a couple of changes. I usually do CO washing but did CWC this time with the first C on dry hair and the W was shampoo on scalp only.
