Thread: What are you doing to/for your hair right now?

Having a hot almond-sunflower-coconut oil treatment on my lengths and coffee treatment on my scalp. I'd like to keep this overnight but must soon rinse away, so this is just a prepoo.

Haven't posted the results of this yet.

I ended up doing another application of black colour conditioner, but it didn't do much, probably because of the first layer of brown. Still, the end result isn't bad and definitely an improvement from what I had before. The colour change is most apparent in the ends (Before and After):

And when I put my hair in a bun, the contrast between my ends and roots is a lot less, which was my ultimate goal:

There are still some brassy undertones in the light, so once this starts to wash out, I might try the semi-permanent route, but for now I am happy with it.

There's definitely a noticeable difference! Well done.

Did a little bit of NightBlooming's Triple Moon Anointing oil on the scalp and coconut oil and the lengths and ends in preparation for wash day. Letting it sit in a braid for an hour or two while I enjoy my morning

Did a s&d, then practically soaked my hair with Nightblooming's Selkie detanglingspray, fingercombed and then brushed it.
Applied oil from roots to tips (Lucien), then put it up in a bun to protect the ends.
Used more oil than I usually do, since I'm planning on doing a hairwash this evening anyways.

Just liberated it from its beauty sleep in a satin bag. I’m sitting up in bed with a sleeping sick kiddo next to me. I’ll put it up once they wake and I have to get up, but for now it’s just lounging among the bedclothes, as am I.
I woke up like this (brushing the top of my calves somehow??)

Got it in a scrunchie bun on top of my head for bath, and probably straight to bed after - I got new giant silky scrunchies and they are so perfect and so comfy!!

Did a lowpoo wash, just to get rid off hair oil and traces of hairspray, before putting on a moisturizing hairmask, and covering that with a perm cap and then a bamboo turban (for what I call "friendly heat").
Will keep it on for at leats 1 hour, but am considering keeping it on all night and wash it off in the morning.
