Oh, I never posted the beaded parandas I got from MountainMusings in this thread! Not her standard stuff, but I saw the one she made for herself and it was just too pretty for me not to have one! I did also buy some pretty hair pins from her at the same time.

Do they still split up in three parts, or do you braid the whole thing along in one strand? I am having trouble seeing how this is used, with that loop and all

eadwine, I use the whole thing in one strand. I use the loop to clip the paranda into my hair to start with, plait the hair, trying to keep the beads on the outside where possible, and then remove the clip!

I had her mod a ficcare for me. I'm so happy with the results! I got a little alligator clip, too that's similar but a different fabric. Hopefully the pic works.
