I agree, that is a great idea!

I want a really cool LHC shirt.
One that mentions the site in some way, but is still fun.

If you're thinking about using the site name on a shirt, you should probably ask Stephanie (the site owner) for permission.

    OK: Here's my idea -

This is essentially the front (it would, obviously, be neater, lol)

ONLY....the hair comes in different hues! (this would also be executed in slightly less haphazard fashion)-

    (brown)

    (black)

    (pewter)

    (blonde)

    (red)

I thought on the back it could have a quote from "Hair", like "Flow it, show it, long as God can grow it, my hair"

I also considered doing a guy's face as well as a woman's face, so as not to be discriminatory.

I would love to see little pins with LHC to put on your bag… Would definitely solve the question of “Is that…?”

I love your idea with the different hair colors, But I really the style you drew the hair this one. It looks so flowy!

    Wow, I didn't realize there is a LHC T-shirt.

Wearing one would seem a bit redundant though. I can just imagine a stranger looking at me, reading the shirt, and then smacking his forehead while uttering "Doh!" Me being a member of the Long Hair Community would make perfect sense.

I've thought of one with some kind of logo on the front, and on the back it says "If you can read this, the hair must be up."
