Hello! Long time lurker that finally made an account

I first stumbled upon this place about a decade ago while in search of advice about hair care and growth(and ignored a ton of good advice haha). I had TBL hair as a child and later kept it anywhere from CBL to WL, then I chopped to a pixie. That turned out to not be what I wanted! Hence, discovering the LHC. Unfortunately I experimented with a lot of bleach and color and loved heat tools, so despite certain efforts to grow I stayed at a mid-neck bob for a few years. Almost exactly 6 years ago I had just trimmed my bob and had a decent chunk of roots grown out from my permanent black dye and I was done!!! I decided to just stop everything. No more dye. No more cutting until I could chop off the dye and be comfortable with the length. No more heat(over time I ended up curling my hair a small handful of times). And that's pretty much what happened. In 2021 I cut from classic to hip and retuned to "virgin" hair. And now I've made it to my knees. Thus far my LHCitis never stopped and has carried me past several goal lengths.

Now I'm not certain if I want to keep growing to calf, my next goal. Or stay here and thicken up my hemline. I definitely want to start trimming more regularly. Anyway! That's my hair story - I'm excited to just finally engage and be a part of the community!
